Moody Wedding Tablescape – Richly Decadent yet Elegantly Designed

With my brand Crimson Letters, I often like to move away from the crowd and what’s currently prevalent and completely do my own thing. Here I’ll be sharing some moody wedding tablescape ideas that I’ve been crushing over.

To set myself apart, I’ve found again and again that my signature style is darker, sultry toned dramatic black and gold style stationery.  Most people that follow me on instagram might believe that I only love to play with dramatic, black design details. Even though black and gold has become my signature style, I am an artist at heart and love variety more than anything else. Therefore, I’m actually a lover of both light and dark design. Yet today, I had to share some impeccably tasteful, moody wedding inspiration with you below.

If you like to stand out from the crowd and would be interested in some rather immaculate looking custom designed stationery, drop an email over to me at rubana@crimsonletters or via my contact page.

You will find the full list of editorial and wedding vendors at the bottom of this post.

Does Moody wedding tablescape have to be all dark?

Remember, to have a moody tablescape, it doesn’t mean that everything has to be dark, without any lighter touch points or highlights. As you can see from the following images, you can lift the tone slightly with a medium, pastel coloured table cloth and focus darker tones throughout the menu design, stationery, background, plates and floral displays. Flower arrangements are key. They can offer so much in terms of making an immediate statement, don’t over look how you can work those moodier colours and certainly go for it, with richer, jewel toned flowers.
